MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – Jonah Fleming

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – Jonah Fleming

A massive congratulations to Jonah Fleming, who has recently earned his second national appointment in an already impressive officiating career.

After being selected for the National Ivor Burge Championships last year, Jonah was appointed to the inaugural Basketball Australia National 3×3 Championships, where he officiated the U23 Men’s Grand Final. Being entrusted with a national grand final appointment is a strong reflection of the respect he has earned within the officiating community.

Jonah’s basketball journey began as a player, spending many seasons with the Whitehorse Mustangs before making the transition into officiating. Since then, he has continued to build a strong reputation through his work with our Technical Official partners and suppliers, including the Camberwell TOC. He currently officiates and contributes as both a referee and referee coach for Camberwell TOC, and also serves on the Big V referee panel, gaining valuable experience at a high level of competition.

Highly regarded across the TOC and throughout Victoria, Jonah’s consistency, professionalism, and commitment to his craft have not gone unnoticed. His continued progression has seen him firmly establish himself on Basketball Australia’s radar.

From Box Hill High School to the national 3×3 stage, Jonah’s journey is a great example of where dedication and passion for the game can lead.

Congratulations, Jonah, on a well-deserved achievement.
