Mustangs Awarded Victorian Government Grant

The Whitehorse Mustangs Basketball Club has been awarded funding through the Victorian Government Sporting Club Grants Program to strengthen player training and development opportunities across the club.

The grant will help enhance on-court training environments, supporting athletes at all levels to build skills, confidence, and sporting capability within a safe and modernised setting.

The announcement was supported locally by the Honourable Paul Hamer, Member for Box Hill, and the Honourable Ros Spence, Minister for Community Sport, reflecting ongoing investment in community sport across the region.

Whitehorse committee members said, “The funding will directly benefit players by improving training resources and supporting the continued growth of participation and development pathways within the Mustangs community.”

The Whitehorse Mustangs sincerely thank the Victorian Government and local members for their support in helping grassroots sport thrive and ensuring young athletes have access to quality development opportunities.
