Whitehorse Mustangs run a beginner skills program called Mini Mustangs. This 8 week program runs on Saturday mornings during school term and is designed to introduce younger children to basketball in a safe, fun, and enjoyable environment. This is highly recommended for children aged 5 to 9 years of age who are keen to develop their basketball skills as well as gain some experience of limited competition level basketball.
Mini Mustangs players have the opportunity to graduate to Mustangs domestic competition, training with their team mid-week and playing on Saturdays (EDJBA, GEBC or MEBA).
The program is also great for players, parents and students wishing to gain experience working with young players and coaching. If you’re interested in helping in a coaching capacity or as an assistant please email operations@whitehorsebasketball.org.au.

The cost is $60 per child per term and there are 2 sessions to choose from:

Everyone is welcome, but registration is mandatory as numbers are limited.
Come wearing comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle and Size 5 basketball. If you don’t have the right size ball, all good… we have plenty!

Enter via Holland Road, proceed down the driveway and veer right under the boom gate. Parking is on the left. Enter the stadium via the glass double-doors on the right side of the building (refer ENTER HERE on map).
REFUND AND CREDIT POLICY
Refunds and credits are available in accordance to the below:
- 7+ days before first class: In cases of injury and/or illness (Doctor’s certificate required) 100% Refund or Credit
- Less than 7 days notice: In cases of injury and/or illness (Doctor’s certificate required) 50% Credit only
- Change of mind or clash of schedule after starting week: No refund. 25% Credit
Please note, all refunds incur an admin fee of $5 per child and PlayHQ fees will be deducted from any withdrawals not listed above.
Credits will not be issued for late enrolment.
