Referee

Are you aged 14 or over and interested in becoming a paid Basketball Referee?

We have a Technical Officials Commission (TOC) branch that looks after the training, development and governance of referees for the Whitehorse Mustangs. The TOC conducts two beginner training courses each year. The training course is open to anyone age 14 and above, including adults. It is never too late to learn the rules and is a great way to keep fit while giving back to the sport of basketball and earning some extra cash.

The Mustangs encourages all of its members to consider becoming a Referee as the club is responsible for maintaining its own pool of referees and ensuring that there are enough referees to officiate at all of our home games.

If you are interested in becoming a referee, please email the club at operations@whitehorsebasketball.org.au where we will register your interest.
